Sailing

Sailing is still on my short term plan (short term may be a bit of a stretch). I still have a few obstacles to overcome before it will become a reality. Mainly I need to find a boat or find someone with a boat to go sailing with. Also I have only minimal sailing experience (well basically none). I have heard it said that it would be best not to sail solo so I need to find a friend to go with me (any volunteers). Finally I will have to allocate some time for this little adventure, preferably in the winter to avoid the hurricane season in the Caribbean along with the cold Canadian winter. The biggest issue facing me at the moment is the time factor. I try not to set to detailed of plans for the future, but for some reason I have a feeling that the 2009 winter sailing season in the Caribbean is going to be a good one. Just a feeling (or that is the first possible opportunity I may have). May we all dream about the warm evening sea breeze until that day.

My hopes for going sailing in the caribbean this winter are past, but there will be a day.
